anyone remember watching the WWF as a kid ?
I saw Andre the giant vs Big John studd at maple leaf gardens . andre slammed him then went to cut his hair off, then King Kong Bundy came in and pulled a pearl harbour . lol
One time...at band camp...
LOL, WWF! I wasted away too many hours watching that crap as a kid. I was at Maple Leaf Gardens the night Dino Bravo broke Bret Hart's sternum. We didn't realize how much pain he was really in at the time.
Another story;
One day I am at Leaside Arena watching a friends kid play hockey. From a distance I see this smoking hot blond at the concession and decided right then that I needed to get a closer look. At first I was thinking that this was going to be another "good from far, far from good" situation but as I did get closer I was delighted to learn that this rule didn't apply this time. She just got better looking the closer I got. 20 feet out and someone calls her name - I look to see who is distracting this hottie from my cool swagger approach...well, turns out it was my hockey hero, Doug Gilmour, and I just spent the last minute or so drooling over his wife. As gay as this may sound, as soon as I realized that I was in the same place at the same time as Dougie, she simply disappeared. I took the time opportunity to thank him for the many years of pure hockey heart! Once I got that out of my system, I regained my composure and starred at Amy's *** as they walked away.
. I stopped and stared at him and I'm like hey it's Dougie to my friends. He notices I'm staring at him and he waves and said hi to me.
My grade 9 history teacher was on the team when they last won
I saw him play. Was up in the greys. I think my grandparents gave them up when they went to the outrageous price of $6 each.
I have another one:
I was there when Chris Steffler sold us a drum set and then taught my son how to play.
