I Was THERE !!!!!

SARS :(. Wrapped up in double layers of everything from head to toe for months until the all clear was given (two disposable gowns, two pairs of eye protection, face shields, hair nets, booties, gloves, N95 masks, disinfectants...). Any time we had to visit a high risk floor, the top layer had to be stripped off, disposed of and replaced immediately. It was crazy! Missed lots of fun stuff then. People were ****-baked they were gonna catch it if I showed up to a function, lol.

Canada Jam concert at Mosport
Doobie Bros, Carlos Santana, Kansas, Dave Mason and the Village People all on the same stage.

One time...at band camp...

LOL, WWF! I wasted away too many hours watching that crap as a kid. I was at Maple Leaf Gardens the night Dino Bravo broke Bret Hart's sternum. We didn't realize how much pain he was really in at the time.

Another story;

One day I am at Leaside Arena watching a friends kid play hockey. From a distance I see this smoking hot blond at the concession and decided right then that I needed to get a closer look. At first I was thinking that this was going to be another "good from far, far from good" situation but as I did get closer I was delighted to learn that this rule didn't apply this time. She just got better looking the closer I got. 20 feet out and someone calls her name - I look to see who is distracting this hottie from my cool swagger approach...well, turns out it was my hockey hero, Doug Gilmour, and I just spent the last minute or so drooling over his wife. As gay as this may sound, as soon as I realized that I was in the same place at the same time as Dougie, she simply disappeared. I took the time opportunity to thank him for the many years of pure hockey heart! Once I got that out of my system, I regained my composure and starred at Amy's *** as they walked away.

I was at a repatriation ceremony on Friday June 25, 2010. This was the same time as the G20 riots were going on. We were lined up paying respects for the fallen soldier and one block over the rally was starting to heat up into a riot. Moments after the closing of the ceremony was over the riot was exactly behind us. Within seconds, what seemed like hundreds of police in riot gear came out of no where teaming down the street to get through the alley to the block where all the commotion was.

Police managed to keep Grenville street clear and guided us out to a safe spot.

She went to my brothers high school. I met Doug at Originals on Bayview, it was pretty funny. I was leaving the bar with my friends and I looked over at the bar for some reason and he was there with his kid paying the bill. I stopped and stared at him and I'm like hey it's Dougie to my friends. He notices I'm staring at him and he waves and said hi to me.

as he was waving, dougie said to his kid " Kid, you're gonna get laid soooooo much cause of who i am......... "

My grade 9 history teacher was on the team when they last won:)

Who is it?

A kid in my class brought in his dad's replica for show and tell. Murray Balfour was on the '61 Blackhawks and they lived around the corner.

I also got to see the Toronto Rock win their cup last year.

Too cool. He was the best home form teacher's I've ever had.

I saw him play. Was up in the greys. I think my grandparents gave them up when they went to the outrageous price of $6 each.

I have another one:

I was there when Chris Steffler sold us a drum set and then taught my son how to play.
