I was involved in a crash - ANY ADVICE?

I am concerned for you, not only for latent back/neck problems, but for the upgrades...

Included on your insurance?

If not, thinking you may have to consider a civil suit...

I work at a personal injury law office if you need info on claiming for accident benefits. Not soliciting or anything, just giving some advice since you mention that you were injured so you are entitiled to certain benefits to help with the recovery process... PM me if you need more info, and hope you and your bike gets well soon!

gws dude, go deal with your insurance company, they'll pay for everything, you'll have a host of forms to fill out ... and just make sure you fill them all out.

Damn dude.. glad you are somewhat okay. I hate that this **** happens. When ever I come to a stop behind another car I always aim my bike slightly to the left or right (whichever way is clear) so if I do get rear ended I will slide past and not get smushed.

all i remember was griping my bars and clenching my *** cheeks.

it was kinda like this video, but with no vehicle in front of me.

Turbinator- Did you at any point see the SUV coming at you? Was there any time to react and get the hell out of that crazy bitches way?

Nope, my main focus was to the ambulance due to its lights and sirens.
i did not hear a tire screetch just a loud bang when she made impact.
once i checked that i had no missing or broken body parts I checked up on the old lady, who was in shock. She was worried about her car stating "its a new car" then stated that her "focus was at the green light, and that she did not notice that all the vehicles had stopped on the green". she also didnt see or hear the ambulance.

Not at all, the reason I ask is because that is one of my fears. Getting hit from behind. I always keep checking my back every time I stop. Just want to know what went trough his mind at that moment, and if he saw the SUV come at him.

Yeah thats one of my fears also...

If they attend the accident and no ambulance is required, they will ask you to go to the collision reporting center.

The officer responded, asked for policy #, ownership, and DL. my bike was not drivable, officer wrote up a accident report and gave me a copy, and directed me to give info to my insurance. my bike was towed, and the lady was sent on her way (car was drivable).

all in all the officer was very nice and handled the situation profesionally.
