Rain? No problem. High gas prices? No problem. 155mph? No problem. 52 degree lean angles.....go for it. Unlike the Spyders etc this actually steers the same way as a motorcycle and uses 2 wheels except for slow speed manoevers. Really neat technology but you'll need 100 grand to get one. Would love to see a racing class for these.

That vehicle makes so must sense. Really though, when you are in rush hour and look at the cars around you, you see 1 person in every car or worse yet, an SUV.

Lets just hope it has a built in heater + AC. And it doesn't look like it has windows.

I think what you want is a car.

That takes the best things out of motorcycling... being outside a cage.

If I wanted to be sheltered from outside, I would drive my car.

The openness, smells, sights, wind, rain, shine, its all what makes riding great. Not being safely behind glass like any other 4 wheeler out there.

Each to their own, whatever floats your boat, but thats just another weird looking car to me.

I get what you're saying but this would be an extra vehicle in addition to a normal motorcycle for me. I rather look at it as a motorbike with a ****ing big and effective windscreen.

A submarine will also shelter you from the outside, but it's no substitute for a car. This is.

It wasn't conceived as a substitute for a motorcycle.

a smart car mated with a ninja! now driven by a storm trooper...

I think it's pretty neat.

I'd get that before a Smartcar.

I'd get anything before a smartcar.....

That looks cool, though. Very futuristic-ey.

Once the price matches the cost of a low-end car, I'm getting it! I'd spend $20G on that. Just imagine how well this would resolve the traffic problem. And once the industry masters electric technology...just wow!

I saw these in New Zealand a couple of years ago. Thought they were quite cool.

Why would you use a seatbelt on a two wheeler? If you flip and the bike gets dragged, you get dragged along with it....
I would rather fall off my bike when the bike lowsides or highsides. Not lowside and highside with it.

I understand that the Tracer has seatbelts but that makes sense because your enclosed in your own world and not exposed.

I think if you stay tucked in the BMW scoot and you go down, there are bars that keep you away from the ground. Like riding a fork lift, they say if it tips, stay in, don't try and put your hands out or anything, there are protective bars, like crash bars. Looks like there is something similar on that.
