I sold my bike today, oh boy

Sorry to hear you had to let it go. Before you know it you'll be on two wheels again!

Sigh, another one bites the dust due to the ******** stunt law. I feel ya :(

Real Men don't sell their bikes.
Now get out there and go buy some $2k bike and ride.
Spend some time on a cafe type metric cruiser, even an old Vmax should be fun and cheap to insure.
good luck!

I just stepped in from a ride and read this. It made me sad.

I will ride in your honour too.

Get back in two wheels soon.

do you never have your facts straight?? His case was dismissed. Also, if you haven't been there its real hard to "feel ya"...

See you around Greg, I hope I get some of the luck you did...

THIS is the #1 reason why I do not associate my feelings towards any MACHINE!

One moment they're there and the next they're gone! and all you are left with are the memories,be it good or bad.The bad ones you forget but how can one forget the good ones..

It is Just a machine!

That's a shame OP, ex-wife made you sell your ride... absolutely heartless. What's keeping you from buying a new one next season though?

I have a connection with all my bikes, they become part of you and obey you with every input bad or good. Before I race I talk to my bike and treat it the same way it treats me, with respect. Say what you want but some people have an emotional connection with inanimate objects, mine just happen to carry me at rediculas speeds.

Impound fees are chump change when you take into account all the other repercussions...especially in OP's situation, he's already dropped a lot of cash on legal ****...

Gary, it sucks to hear you're done too...get that 'Vette you want and bring her out to BB every now and then.

I had to turn down two potential buyers right before the completion of the sale of my first bike. I just couldn't let it go lol

And when I sold it in the end, it felt like I was the stupidest person on the planet for the first few days - exchanging a running/growling motorcycle for pieces paper lol
