I also found a USB backup battery very useful for when you are in your tent and want to charge your phone up.
Got a 5200mAh one from Tiger direct - can charge two devices at the same time (helped me with 2 sena's on a trip..)
Hi, I saw another member doing a trip to montreal. That gave me an idea to have a trip of my own. I've only been on half day trips, so I need a little help figuring out how to make my plans a reality.
1) How far does one travel on a single day?
2) How long should this trip take? (1day hiking/ camping, and half day bungee jumping near ottawa, half day in ottawa sightseeing) I don't plan to ride at night, unless I'm coming back to toronto.
3) What should my budget be?
Any other tips are welcome, if anyone would like to join feel free to send me a pm.
My advice would be, scrap that route and for the same amount of KM you can do a 1 day trip to Pennsylvania, long day but doable (I did it about a month ago) or add a few more hundred KM and make it a 2 day Pennsylvania run.
If you want to look at good routes, do a search on this sub forum, I have a thread there with some of the better routes and there are a couple more threads with some good ones as well.
Why waste your time with straight roads when for the same amount of time and KM you can do some awesome twisty roads and some really nice scenery
