sorry had to re-post this here... i didn't know that they can only PM you in classifieds lol..

so,

i'm looking for an online link to buy a decent slip-on exhaust for my 2013 ER-6N
i can not find anything on eBay.... everything i see are the high end exhausts which cost over $500 to 1k....

i AM saving money and planning to upgrade my system next year fully with really good parts but JUST for now i would like to see if i can find any slip-on exhaust for this model so i can hear the bike! stock SUCKS!

let me know please if you have anything in mind!

thanks.

looks the same as the underslung exhausts on the 650r and versys, so try searching those models. it might be different, but it's hard to tell from pics. The only can i've ever heard on that engine was a 2bros, and it was obnoxiously loud. either way, if you're planning to do a full system, no point in tossing money at a slip on. might as well just save that and be closer to what you really want.

ive got a yoshi slip on my 650r, its got a really nice sound to it in my opinion, wayyyyyyyyy better then the stock sewing machine. not sure of the costs though the guy i bought it off already had the pipe on the bike.

There are no slip-ons for 2012 and 2013s. The exhaust is 1 peice. You have two options. 1. Buy the expensive full exhaust system or 2. Buy used 2009-11 headers for an ER6N or 650R from ebay then get a slip-on for the older model.

check out www.kawiforums.com/ninja-650r-er6/ as it gets asked about once a week there.

I have a customer looking for an exhaust for his 2012 and his only option is full systems. As mentioned the OEM exhaust is one piece so no slipon a exist for them that I have been able to find. He wanted yoshimura or akrapovic and both only offer full system for his bike

The only slip-on that's available is Two Brother's. But I don't like the sound... too deep and two brother's are just a tad too loud lol

All others "slip-on's" unfortunately maybe a frankenstein-job to make a slip on fit... not recommended. Just save up an addition $1-200 and get the full system.

i see! i get it now...

how hard is it to install a full system?

too loud? it's never to loud :)

dude, do the full exhaust with the older headers...ive done 2 systems like this
my z1000 used zx9 headers and any slip on = full system, cost about $100 plus the $280 power commander + dyno run $400
2009 fz6r - 2005 r6 header - hindle slip on = full sytem, cost about $150 PLus PC and Dyno

its the same for the er6n, you just get the older headers, remove the CAT, get a pipe fitted and your gold. total cost is not as much as a manufactured full system.

Im sure the er6n forums have many DIY options.

Strange that the Fz6r and the er6n went this way with the full one piece exhaust/cat under the bike.

yeah this thing is killing me! i had NO idea they did this after 2012.. so stupid!
