ok so i fixed the light bulb and my friend dropped the lens today i went to put the lens on an found out that the black part is slightly bent. i got 2 options:
1-try to fix it to fit the lens
2- just replace the part.

which would be better? and less costy?

Try to fix it and if you end up breaking it then option 2. Always go for the cheaper reliable option first, if it works you save some $$ if not then there is always eBay.

Anyone know where I can get that metal part that holds the bulb it's bent and will take time to straighten it up
Are you still not riding?!
Would have been better to just replace the lights, for $27 you can get them shipped to your door (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HONDA-CBR100...Accessories&hash=item4161848111#ht_3136wt_944)

Why can't you just bend them with some needle-nose pliers? Mind you, I'm not sure which part your talking about but if it's metal, it straights back up easily.

my vote was and still is that you replace the whole part. if u do that and still want to fix the old part, u can take your time with it and if you succeed, that will be a spare part. never a bad idea for a spare part imo.

but if u do decide to bend the part with pliers, try to heat it up first a little bit so its more pliable.

should post a pic.. can't imagine it would be that difficult to bend back as a temporary fix, but have no idea what you are referring to.

have to agree with the others, if not too expensive just replace it.

Ya still no riding waiting to be done with my m1 exit course next week. I'm gonna try to straighten it back if not just go get another part lol

stuck on what? do u mean, it just flashes once and stays on all the time? it must be the wiring. check and trace your ground wire. make sure its connected properly and not shorting out.

it could be possible that you didnt replace the bulb with the correct one?

if the installed bulb is drawing less current than expected the signal relay wont allow for it to blink. (i think this is accurate, been a while) or vice-versa make it blink at a faster rate

check to see if you replaced it with a similar or recommend bulb or it could be some other problem
