Hyosung GT250 Standard

Ahhh thats what I though. My ex got the 08 FI and it does make a huge difference. She paid I think 4200 in mint condition. You should have asked around because once you become a proficient rider, things that don't matter now will matter to you in the future, and things like mods won't matter as much.

Anyways, the bike is an excellent bike, and the rider position is comparable to a 600 SS so congratulations on your buy, enjoy and don't worry about what people say about the model, the Kawi 250's don't compare to the one you bought and I am a Kawi guy.

3200 to be exact. The bike is great, I can honestly say that I am lot more confident on it compared to a ninja 250(which was my first bike). The only thing that I wanna complain about is the neutral gear. When I wear boots I can NEVER find it, but if i wear keds or light running shoes then its easy to feel. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase and def. think the OP will be too!

Oh hey Ex :)

@Rina:thats nice price for '08....I was going to buy brand new model and was willing to wait till mid-july but the price for 2009 was irresistible....I can use the money I saved for few upgrades......

BTW can you guys tell me which exhaust will be a good choice and if you can give me an idea how much it will cost to get one installed ??
thanks in advance

Oh hey Ex :)

hello :)

@manUtd9: I have an after market exhaust but Im not sure what brand it is, I think the previous owner said it was about $600. Im not too much of a fan for loud exhausts so I put a silencer on mine.

my experience with Hyosung: it needs constant care. i.e. dont miss or prolong any maintainance. if u hear a little tick when the bike is running, check your cam chain tensioner ASAP! its usually the front one that lets go. hapened in my bike and some other GT250 owners around the world.
electrics are not very nice. if i was experienced, i would take a close look at the wiring. one of the fuses keeps blowing up on my bike. and it sputters, then stops in the rain. after the water has dried up, its like nothing ever happened.
i opened up the engine and had a look inside. its nowhere close to the jap bikes engine quality.

is it possible for you to find out what brand it is....I'm not a fan of too loud exhaust.....I'll rather enjoy my ride than get a headache.......lol.....

I'll be riding to sauga quite often so hope to ride along sometime

Damn, I assume one for morning rides and the other for night?

Very nice man! Welcome! I suggest the two brothers exhaust, m-2 carbon fiber is the one I got. It sounds amazing, we can meet up and you can get a hear for yourself.

forgot to ask you where did you buy your two bros M-2, I went to GP Bikes other day to order my jacket and inquired them about M-2, first they had no clue which exhaust fit GT 250R second they do not have M-2 in stock and about price the guy gave me random figure of between $400 and $500.....I knew right away this is definetly wrong place to look for exhaust for my bike....lol.....

I purchased it from flyncycle.com got a decent price too. I'm at richmond hill, going for a ride tomorrow, come by if you like. I'll probably be around markham or wtv who knows
