Order some fork seals
Im already on my second seals and i still cant get balance point
Its trial and error, i know what i am doing now but i just don't have balls to bring it to balance point. Right now i am trying to master bringing it down smoothly.
I got a gs500 and I'm ready to learn how to wheelie..IV been getting a lot of tips but does anyone else have some tips they would like to share to wheelie on a 500cc bike??
The "For Dummies" series of instructional books might have, or should, have a "How to wheelie for Dummies" title. You might also try the "Dooshbag" instructional videos.

How to wheelie:
Step 1 - "YUT UGHH!"
Step 2 - You just did a wheelie.
Definitely coming down WAY TOO HARD if you're blowing seals.... I would highly suggest that you stop trying them if you're going through seals.... You'll end up going splat... Seriously. Then you'll need a lot of new parts and gear lol. Give it more throttle if you're going to keep trying, especially when you're coming down. Crank er back, balls to the wall. Give it everything or nothing...
My daughter learned how to wheelie today.it was also her first time on two wheels! proud dad i am!

I think ppl that do wheelies on the highway are cool as **** lol everyone's into their own style of riding ..some don't like the excitement and rather ride their bikes like mopeds it's Sall Good
You are right to an extent...to each their own and all that ********. When it comes to doing wheelies on public road ways where other people could possibly get injured or worse, you are wrong and it isn't cool as **** anymore. When these things happen, the legal types make more laws to try to control the rest of the world which just chips away at our enjoyment of the sport.
Not for nothing, it is your bike do with it what you will but know that when you are ready to unload your bike and post it here for sale, this thread is likely to come up. BTW, if I recall correctly, the oil pick up in your bike is in a position where doing wheelies starves the bike for oil. Not sure about this but a little food for thought, perhaps you may want to look into that before you go too far.
Knock yourself out and do it in a safe place.
