There's a type in the system that is probably not on this forum... the pig lady.

She's the one standing on the escalator that doesn't let anyone by (escalefter)
She's the one that waddles through narrow spaces, winds into oncoming traffic, and checks the contents of one of her four bags in the middle of the path.
She's the one that will cut to the front of the platform and charge into a car before anyone can get out, or blocks access from the door to get out.
She needs a few seats for her bags. Only about 1 in 10 are this lady, but they really hold things up.

This is how you handle those cases:

LOL that was awesome.

I was on the subway with about 5,000,000 other people last week, listening to music I felt a poke on my shoulder. This "Shaniqua" type later kisses her teeth at me "Scuze me... YO'r Pushin' me". I look down and there's about 3 feet of space between us.

Being 7:30 am and not a morning person, I was being a smart ***: "So I'm pushing you right now?" She says "yes". I point at the empty space between us "right now?!" She just kisses her teeth. So I put my music back on. Then she pokes my shoulder again "I'm pregnant and don't want to fall over" (you would think overwise if you saw her). I just replied with "so sit down" and got off at my stop.

I have total confidence that I didn't touch her at all, I even had my bag on the ground and would have noticed it.

I did forget to add the "I have all the time in the world even though I know everyone else doesn't".... how do I edit poll options? lol

Omg...I'm laughing so hard. Do you have a source for this?

I laugh like I drive/ride; I try to be as hyper-aware and courteous as possible. But if there's anything that I've learned about working at clubs it's that people need to be handled sometimes. It's the same as having to cut off that person who just won't let you, in despite your blinker being on for the past 25 seconds.

I just keep in mind that not everyone appreciates being touched, and I think it's a fair compromise. If it's a big crowd and no one's moving, I'll lightly tap them in the direction that I want them to go and say "sorry". Works every time.

Is it just me though or are half the "suggested videos" at the end about women and monkeys masturbating (the other half being about Superman)? Either Youtube (correctly) assumed that I like watching women and monkeys rubbing themselves or that vid has some weird tags attached to it.

Excellent!

Reminds me of an incident when I was in first year at Western. Leaving one of the libraries to get in or out of the building you have to walk down a 5' wide hallway. Perfectly fine for two people to pass each other going opposite directions. Not perfectly fine when 4 girls choose that spot to stop and talk only leaving about 1' of room to squeeze through.

I could have taken my backpack off and slid along the wall and got by without touching them.. Maybe.. But i didnt. Shoulder to shoulder.. Venti peppermint mocha ON THE GROUND!!

What about the sudden stopper?....the type who is walking along a busy high traffic path and suddenly stops to look in a store window (without moving over or slowing down).

Don't forget the pack walkers....people who walk in packs of 4 or more and take up the entire side walk who don't break ranks to allow a single (oncoming!!!!) person to pass.

And the ever increasing.....elevator / subway door lurker...standing right in front of the door as it opens and doesn't wait for others to leave this finite enclosed space. This was never a Toronto issue 15 years ago but has increased dramatically like a 3rd world city.

This is a pet peeve of mine for sure. I usually walk straight through them.

To be honest, this happens to me but I always step back to give space after I realize my mistake.

I don't do this in front of subway/street car doors though. I always wait on the sides to let people out. But this is different since you can see through the windows that people are waiting to get out.

I voted quick and agile as I am generally walking fast and dodging all the slow *** people around.

Why is it that people shop like they have nothing better to do all day? When I go to the grocery store I get in and out as fast as possible. Meanwhile I'm dodging people all over the place that are walking as if they are intending to spend the rest of the afternoon in there having a leisurely stroll. Not even just old people, either.

Must be the same people bogging up the 401 during rush hour going 60 kph with 500m of free road in front of them and people flying around them on all sides.

I'm sexy and I know it!!

Anyone else get Costco-Rage? I notice a severe lack of shopping cart etiquette.

THIS!!!!

Do people have nothing better to do with their time than spend days inside of a Costco?

Make a list people. Then stick to it. Bam! done. in. out. ****en Magic!

Hahaha, yes! These are both so annoying!

I can't go into Costco anymore!

$300 poorer, a bald patch, bloated from the cheese samples, and humilated that they checked me at the door like a thief who set the alarm off. All that on top of the bumper carts.

Unless you have 10 kids or own a small restaurant there is no reason to be in Costo!
