you will almost certainly not see an adjustment for getting your M. How long you've been licensed is what matters.Didn't feel like starting a new thread was necessary, so I'll ask my question here. I'll be getting my M some time this summer.. if I call up my insurance company, will they adjust my premium? Or will it only take effect once the renewal comes around? (Oct)
I can think of 3 different insurers we can place the Tuono through even off the top of my head. Email to: moto@nfp.com and one of the moto specialists will figure out which one of those has the best rates for the Aprilia.
Thats unfortunate, im holding on to the 1100 for dear life! What bike did you end up getting? I cant go to another naked after hearing the V4, the MT10 would be close but its butt ugly imo
Why the CB?I still have my Tuono track bike, it’s just the street bike that’s gone.
New street bike is a Honda CB1000R. Picking it up in a couple of weeks.

You surprised me
Why the CB?
Just seems…well.Ever since riding the Tuono on the track and experiencing what it’s capable of, it just seems so boring and underutilized on the street. I almost sold it in the Fall and decided last minute to keep it, the insurance issue was the nail in the coffin.
For a new street bike I was looking for something that was more refined, still had decent power but was a little more tame and not “on” all the time. I briefly considered the Yamaha MT-10 because of the sound but I think that would have been my only reason for going that route.
I ended up choosing the CB1000R because it’s got decent power, 145hp, very good handling, adjustable riding modes, up/down Quickshifter, is very tame when ridden in town and at reasonable speeds and looks great. It is also a Honda so I’m not worried about reliability or maintenance costs.
Oh, and it’s under that magical 1000cc limit so insurance is $650 for full coverage and $2m liability.
really surprised you didnt consider a street triple... or a tuono 660, personally, thats the route I would have gone withEver since riding the Tuono on the track and experiencing what it’s capable of, it just seems so boring and underutilized on the street.
