Hey all. Just need to do a research.

among the average woman in their 20-30s. How much is the average amount they spend on cosmetic surgery?

Any insights would help!! Thanks!!

I have spent $0 on cosmetic surgery. Is it actually common for women to get cosmetic surgery done?

This chick I know got a nice set of tit's for $3000. I was at the Zanzabar last night and it seemed like no tit's Sunday. For $3000 these bitches should all have them it would definitely increase there profitability.

The surgery must of been done by Billy, the back alley abortionist. No way you can get fake cans for 3K these days. I know a chick that got a set "installed" a couple months ago and she paid around 12K.

God damn 12K... ****...

For 3K I'd buy just about any girl I date a new set...

Guessing most do surgeries in forties and up....Oh, and most people don't know this boob jobs are not a one time thing. You need to re do them every 8-10 years. Was rooming with a breast cancer survival once that opted not to get it. Just doesn't make sence to do it.

Like any implants installed. It needs to be checked from time to time as you have put a foreign object into your body. Worst case scenerio is your body starts to reject it and the complications can compound.

I spent $200 on laser hair removal. Does that count? But I did that for me. I like looking like higher maintenance then I am but don't like spending the time.

Since I don't know any women that have spent any money on cosmetic surgery, I'd say most spend none but the higher costs of having it done would drive the actual average up.

Unless waxing/eye brows count.

Yeah..I'd have to say, how much does the average woman spend who has actually had plastic surgery done? Because I'm thinking almost none get anything done..unless you're in the Jersey Shore Club..

3K boobs must look like crap!

I've spent $0 and plan to keep it that way. What happened to aging naturally?

I think it would be more interesting to research how many more men are getting into cosmetic procedures. From a longitudinal perspective, I would predict that we have seen a sharp increase in the numbers in the past 10 years with the introduction of the metrosexual, and the commercialization of men's bodies as sex objects in their own right (think of the influence of GQ alone). The meanings of masculinity have also changed dramatically in a short period of time. From the rugged, bearded cowboy image to the clean, well dressed and well manicured polo wearer.

It could have been a hack job, but but they did look good; when she was on her back it wasn't a set that we're spaced apart so far that it looked like you could park your bike in between them.

Maybe they were done like 10 years ago and she didn't account for the cost of....

....inflation.

Botox, face lifts? etc? Maybe. Boob jobs? Nope.

I know four girls with fake cans off the top of my head and 3/4 are in their 20's, with the forth in her early 30's. One pretty much got them done right around 19-20. I guess depends on what kind of circles you hang around in. *shrug*

It seems to me that women typically get a boob job EARLY (like late teens-early 20's) or mid-thirties right after they have kids and their real ones start going south.

Meh you can extend that argument to just about anything. Sure hope you don't use moisturizer cream, or acne medicine, or birth control or or ... what happened to _______ naturally.

Ya opening up a jar of cream and getting surgery are totally comparable. ;)

Exactly. And waxing eyebrows and legs isn't surgery either.

How many men have their backs waxed? I understand that a lot of men have body parts waxed. That's according to my esthetician, anyway. She told me she has a lot of male clients, but they're sheepish and secretive about it. A lot of men use higher end skincare products too. If they didn't, companies like Biotherm, Clarins and Clinique wouldn't bother to have men's lines of their products.

Gay. (no offense GayManLoveIsOk)

I don't think that your typical woman has had a lot of work done...or maybe I'm just running in the wrong social circles. I'm sure that botox and facial peels and crap are becoming more common, but hardcore surgery I don't think is mainstream for most middle-class women. I mean, it's pretty pricey. I *do* know women who have had breast-reduction surgery, which is currently covered by OHIP (who knows for how long). After I have kids, I may consider it too.
