But you can definitely get multiple bikes stolen off you, and all of them can asplode at once.
I wonder what kind of arrangement a guy like Jay Leno has with his insurer.
That's committed to the sportIn our household, including offroad, street and race.....12
Jay Leno most likely self insures so it probably costs him very little.

This. They should be challenged on this in court as a catastrophic payout cannot occur when you are the principal rider of many motorcycles. You can only ride one bike at a time. This is how it used to be in the 80's. They would charge you one full liability policy and each bike added was an extra ~ $50. This should be reported to all MP's in Ontario as it hampers motorcycle sales and frankly is illegal. If you lie that you're the primary rider and let someone else ride one of your bikes, the insurance co simply does not have to pay out and can deny you future insurance as you lied to an insurance co. Else, I cannot see how them charging you multiple full policies is not illegal, and should be brought to the attention of your MP's and the government as a whole. It was like this before, so the precedent is already written. Report them! You do have a say in how things are run. The passivity of Ontarians is why things have gotten to this level of bad. Report them to your local MP's. Your MP is obligated to investigate and give you an answer. The more reports, the more scratching of heads of MP's, the more MP's start talking together, then it's brought before the house of commons. This in light of the concern of level of fitness of Ontarians should drive the government to take action to allow Ontarians the right to buy and own multiple recreational vehicles. It's good for the economy and it's good for the health of Ontarians who otherwise might be sitting on the couch generating heart attacks vs. being involved in recreational activity. Feel free to cut and paste this to your local MP!Just one. If insurance was different then I would have more then 1. Insurance should insure your most expensive bike and then cover every bike after that as you cannot ride two bikes at once.

The only reason it would backfire is the passivity of Ontarians. We've been taught to do what we're told, when actually, it's us who are supposed to tell the government what WE want them to write into law. Again, the precedent is already written in law as this is how it used to be in the 80's. What changed? Nothing changed but the greed of insurance co's so much so that they are willing to commit illegal acts.It would likely backfire and end up costing us more somehow like the last insurance changes did.
