How do you wash your bike in a condo garage?

I live in a building where I've got a parking spot for my bike, but there's no hose or power outlets for me to use. Wanted to see how other people here clean their bikes when there's no running water, no electricity for vacuum, etc.?

Up to this point, I've just been bringing down bottles of tap water and a stack of rags, and just pouring a bit of water in and wiping down, but I'm sure there's a lot of stuff I'm not getting that way. Not to mention the risk of scratching up the bike by grinding dirt into the surface, etc. - would prefer to blast all the grime off with water first before wiping it down.

suggestions? thoughts?

take it to one of those coin wash places

Technique:
Rinseless car wash
Two buckets wash method (one with the carwash solution, otherone to rinse the mitt)

Product:
Optimum No Rinse

Can be found on
eshine.ca
widsomdetail.ca

I suggest spray with quick detailer prior to washing it (to lube up that dirt even more)

this is in jest i do not endorse van's "washing" bikes

+1 this. My condo has bays, but if I want to do a quick wash and not hold anyone up, I just fill my buckets and wash it off to the side.

I keep a cart in my storage locker that has 2 raise-able levels on it. I keep it on it's side and it's nice and compact. Wake up nice and early and get all your stuff ready and do your clean long before anyone gets up! If you don't have an elevator in your condo, you're kinda stuck though. Or you can do things the long way.

do this one. you can even try using just one bucket with ONR, but i would start with two first.

and if it's just the plastics you want to clean, just grab a microfibre and a big can of plexus. if it's rims, a few rags and keroscene or used dryer sheets

bingo! that's all i've ever done with any of my bikes

this is the way. plexus is a little pricey though and there are better spray detailers out there
