On Sunday, I used the above mentioned 5-0 signal to warn a rider of police.
It was all thanks to this thread- didn't know that's how you do it!
In Europe it's common to use the quick-highbeam flash to warn others of cops, if driving a car. .....I thought it's universal.
Do cagers use it here or not? I'd hate to think I've been causing confusion in gta traffic for years. All while thinking I'm doing a good deed.
waving is just show respect of another rider we do it because there only such a small time to ride in Canada
We used to... nowadays, most drivers in the GTA don't have a clue what they're doing or what's going on around them.
I flashed my lights on/off at someone the other night to let them know they didn't have their lights on. What does he do? Brake checks me.
So I only bother signaling motorcyclists, they're the only ones actually paying attention on the road.
That's just it, I wave to others on crap days because it's a respect thing for me. I hate waving on nice days because I hate fair weather riders and garage queens.
This is really how I wave when I see a Ducati / Agusta
Yes please do, this has saved my *** many times and I always pay it forward. In Europe it's common to use the quick-highbeam flash to warn others of cops, if driving a car. .....I thought it's universal.

Even if 3 people don't get it, the one that does will really appreciate it.

I'm the same. I thought the quick light flash was universal here? It was when I was in my younger years anyways and I still do it.
