How did you learn to wheelie?

I don’t have a pedal bike, or a motorized one. . I’m just here to live vicariously through others such as yourself.

You and me both :'(

I have a wheelie bar that I purchased from Korea. It was $400 shipped and it is secured directly to my swingarm, prevents you from looping by tethering to your rear brake so you can adjust the height as you start feeling more comfortable. I've progressed my wheelies in a few hours from not being able to pop the wheel up to almost getting to balance point. highly recommended if you have a sumo/dirtbike.

I know the owner so let me know if you are interested and I can get you a discount.

If you are on a dirt bike, what's wrong with falling off?

I have a sumo and I practice in the parking lot. removing the mental barrier of falling / looping is a large part of learning wheelies and for 400$ i can say it has paid for itself to not have to worry about busted bike parts / injuries (though its still possible to get hurt from lack of side/side balance)

Seems reasonable. Falling from being high in a wheelie can easily break $400 worth of parts. You can sell it when you are done too.

that was my justification! it's attached to the swingarm with 4 bolts and can be removed in a few minutes. the adjustment wire is a single nut takes 30 seconds to change the 'max' height of your wheelie

it already saved me from looping when i attempted my first power wheelie after only doing clutchups!

if you want to see it in person, more than happy to show you how it works.

Nice. Do you know if this is compatible with street bikes?
