How was JJ planning to drink out of that cup?

I can appreciate the time and effort that went into the build. I don't like the outcome (pretty much every part of it). I often question whether people think about how a project is going to turn out before spending all the time and money. Many of these fabricators are actually quite skilled and can crank out really really cool things.

Was your buddy happy with the outcome? That's ultimately what matters if he is not planning on selling it. Hell, it may be better because people aren't pestering you to buy it every time you take it for a ride.

This is why you should plot things out in CAD before actually building them. At least while looking at the computer screen you can look at your creation in a virtual sense first, realize the end result looks like a can of smashed ********, and decide to leave that one on the hard drive instead of investing time and money to make it reality only to come to that realization after it's all finished.

But hey, if the builder likes it, all the power to him. Not my cup of tea though, that's for sure.

I can understand the creator's will to make something that expresses his creativity, kinda like the crazy lady next door who makes intricate fleamarket sculptures out of scrap metal parts. It's a labor of love, so if the builder loves it - i'm good. Would I put my ass on the thing... don't think so.

^^^ I don't know if I actually like that in some weird way, or want to put it out of it's misery.

If you've never seen Corvette Summer, that picture is pretty much all you need to know about it
