Honda Snowblower

Good choice. I know you will love it.

Try to find a dealer that won't tack on the silly pdi and freight charges. We have a dealer in our area here that skips all that.

Freight and PDI on a snow blower?! WTF....

They are shipped...and uncrated. Why would you expect not to see freight and PDI?
Unless you buy from a big box store...

Why would I expect it? The only time I've ever heard of it being charged is on cars and motorcycles.

Learn something new every day.

Yes, Honda powerhouses will charge freight and pdi if you let them. I said no, just give me the box with it in it. The setup was ridiculously minor.

Sounds good Bobo.

For the benefit of the community regarding related info, those plow mounds are no issue with any dual stage Honda. I have 120 feet of plow mounds to deal with from a double wide road where graders like to plow snow onto my sidewalk. My 622 has no problem with the work; it has never even bogged dealing with it. The mound has been 2 feet high and full of ice and solids. The 622 goes through it no problem as long as the pile is not frozen solid. Then you are out of luck no matter what size of snowblower you have.

Since you don't want suggestions on another blower, I won't inject here. All I can recommend is buying the BIGGEST MOTOR for the smallest frame... means you chuck the furthest. Just got a new one for dad's house and his driveway is is 40 ft wide by about 60 ft long with about 80ft of sidewalk and he clears his neighbors sidewalk for another 80 ft (160 ft total) ... I had a chance to use it a few weeks ago and having a go at it with a giant engine is cake (went from an 8hp to 16hp unit)... 8hp struggled ... 16hp just hums through at speed.
