Honda may have an answer for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R with its own small Inline-Four sportbike, as the company files a trademark application for

The surprise will be if it's actually spicy and/or revs to the moon. Honda has been way too far on the reliability end of the spectrum for my liking for a long time. I don't care if it lasts forever if it is boring to ride. I'd rather have 100K of smiles.

I like a lot of Honda's experimental models, but I have a really tough time imagining them making an exciting bike out of this. I would be delighted to be proven wrong. The CB400F and the CB-1 are still cool

I feel like that doesn't have to be the case. Even the neutering of the ZX-4R seems like a very late stage engineering compromise. I half expected Kawasaki to have "fixed" it by now
