I was there that day and in the video...lol. As far as I know the bike was fine but the guy was not allowed to ride any more that day.

Did they make you, er...i mean "that guy", pay for the damage to the bike?

I don't think they made him pay but he did have to leave. It looks like op was an organizor for the demo day. I find it odd tgat he would post such a video. It's like he is making fun of the people who attend.
