Holly ****!!!!!!

Re: Holly f***!!!!!!

Some of you guys are funny, buying a bespoke 80K bike doesn't make you stupid, it makes you interesting. You've come to a level in life where 80K is cash you can afford to tie up in your interests.

Nobody has ever made anything as close to a GP bike for the public available at that price point.

Precisely. Exactly!
Well said, Crank...
I just hope I reach that point soon, before I get much older LoL

Re: Holly f***!!!!!!

One would think motorcycle people would get it. Why it's $80k. People, this is car equivalent of driving Michael Shumacher's Ferrari F1 car with lights and a license plate on the street. How much do you think that would cost? And for any buyer of this type of vehicle, would it be about cost at all?

Caboose was right when he said there is the same percentage of morons in the riding community as there is in the general population.

On the other hand too, using the car analogy, there are rich guys who would rather spend their $$$ hopping up a Camaro or Corvette than buy a Ferrari F50 or McLaren F1. They'd probably end up with a faster car at the end of the day.

I think calling it a rip-off or POS makes you an idiot, but preferring or choosing to go faster with less dough doesn't. Different strokes for different folks.

I said nothing about who would rather do what or spend what, I'm trying to explain why it costs what it does for the people saying "$80K OMGWTF STUPID"

LOL at all the people saying $80k is too much for a bike. Sorry to break it to you, but you aren't the target demographic for this bike.

Why would someone pay $80k for a bespoke bike? Simple... because they can.

agree! or because they just want something different than everyone else.

I brought my SV650s up from the states bc the Blue with the white stripe was a US only option so up here in Canada you wont see to many (maybe now bc i said this hahaha)

The real question is: wtf is it doing in a Toyota dealership

Did you just compare your blue/white SV to a Desmo???? LOL!!! (from a fellow SV owner).

Because this bike is so rare, 20 - 30 years from now, if the bike is still in good shape, it'll be worth far more than it is now. Just look at the trend with rare classic cars.

Here's 45 of them at Donington.

^ When you see that many of them beside each other, it loses all coolness.

Wasn't my intension lol

But I guess I can say its my poor man's version of my DUC hhahaha

Understood, just wanted to clarify a counter-argument.

If I thought everyone who disagreed with me was a moron, life would be pretty lonely.

Re: Holly f***!!!!!!

Can't believe people cannot appreciate the bike and price it commands. Not to mention, it's "never been started" so it's brand new, literally. Ironically my friend just declined a job at Welland Toyota. Strange dealer, stocks Lambos, Desmos, and M3's for a Toyota dealer. Maybe I'll drop in to look at the bike for fun, only 20 minutes away.
The gold sprinkles on ice cream analogy is laughable.
