So you're organizing a ride for newbies, going to take them all the way down to the Falls and let them find their own way home. Very classy.

For a lot of new folks that's a fair distance and they may not know their surrounding and or how to get back. Many are concentrating hard enough just riding the bike to note where they are. In addition, there will be a fair amount of traffic about even on the secondary roads this weekend and that will put more stress on them (Highway #8 especially).

If you're going to run a ride for newbies I think you have some obligation to get them all back to the starting point and not leave them to their own fate.

If you do go ahead with this ride I hope you do look out for these folks, all the way. They're counting on you to keep them safe and give them a good time.

Ride safely.

Everything is spelled out in the original post. This will easily be a 2-3 hour ride, if not more and there will be stops along the way. Traffic, new roads, group riding, are all part of the game. Its up to the individual rider to decide for himself, if they are capable enough to handle this ride!

Point taken on the M1 riders. If any need a leader to guide you home from the Falls. Please approach me at the meeting point BEFORE we start our ride and I will accommodate any back to the meeting point.

Also, any newbs with questions or concerns can also post here or pm me, before they decide to take this ride.

Cheers. :)

yippy, i found another cbr125 rider....you see so many 600cc and 250cc, always looks like 125cc have to be written, in order to be welcomed.

Not a noob but I have a cbr125. Can I come? :D

Lol, love the small print :)

Anyone else in on this? If there is only 2 of us I might bail and hit the airshow

That was a lot of fun! Didn't really know what to expect for a first ride but I'm glad I came along. I'm going to have to really work on my skills. I was so slow in the corners compared to you guys.

Till next time.

Nice ride. The little bike had to work hard on the way home against that headwind, but it pulled through like a champ!
