Hindles Pricing - RANT!

I love my full Hindle exhaust. It feels almost weightless compared to the stock system.
 
My only issue with Hindle has to do with how difficult it can be to get accessories/spare parts for their product... For years I wanted to replace high mount strap... it's listed in all the usual catalogs with part number and price, and yet, no retailer wanted to order one for me (claimed it's out of stock, check back later)... I called Hindle directly and they offered no help... Something is not right there... but I still like supporting local business and pipe held up great over like 5 years...
 
Lost a spring for my slip on, local stores had no listing for the part. Emailed hindle and they sent me two new ones at no charge.
 
Local company that in the early 90's gave you an amazing full system pipe for a great price. Loved them back than and went through 4 sets on 4 bikes.
Fast track to the present and you will still get the exact same pipe for as much or more than the competitions current designs, which are usually FAR more attractive and contemporary, and also imported so how most remain cheaper puzzles me.
I support the companies that support me. My first option is to support the local business, but not if they won't give me fair value.
