Just make sure you ride the piss out of it, especially in the high rev range and because it's a 2-stroke expect to do frequent maintenance work on it as well but don't fear this bike will definitely will be a learning curve so don't feel bad in asking lots of questions there will be lots of people on here who can help.
It's definitely a quirky bike. Had been sitting for a while and not ridden too often. Smartening up now that I have been trying to clean and fix it up and riding it a lot more than it's been ridden in quite some time. For a new rider with this as a first bike, it has been a real learning experience. As frustrating as it was knowing absolutely nothing, and trying desperately to get it on the road earlier in the season, I'm actually liking that I have learned so much I wouldn't have with a nice shiny new bike. Not to mention some riding skills like the "I have stalled at a light and have to kick-start calmly dance" LOL! Happens rarely now though.
I will definitely have a lot more questions for my fellow 2-stroke riders out there, especially anyone with the same bike. I look forward to communicating with and hopefully riding with many of you sometime.
Oh, and once I have a few more clicks on my new front tire I will definitely be riding the piss out of it! Careful of the cold tires of course!
