Shortages vs distribution

You see third world inhabitants wearing rags and using cardboard boxes as furniture and here so much of that stuff ends up as landfill.

Fuel shortage for a huge part of the world population is a shortage of firewood. They walk miles for bits of wood. I could cook a meal using the junk paper that comes through my mail slot each week.
