Help moving/towing my bike

So I bought a bike over the weekend... now I need to move it from Maple to Mississauga. Anyone here tow bikes? I can go the U-haul route...but that's lame and figure I'd try here first. None of my friends have a pick-up - well one does but he's soul searching in Italy right now.

I'd like to get it to my place by Tuesday at the latest so if anyone can help out or point me in the right direction, that would be just excellent. Rather throw my $$ here then at U-haul

i find motolimo expensive...they quoted me $200 from kahuna (steeles and weston) to milton...ended up riding it home myself taking the back roads and going for a slow, easy, casual ride...

Yep, I agree on this one, give Chris a call. Used his service a couple of weeks ago, the other problem could be that he is still on vacation.

why is uhaul lame? they rent trailers with a ramps... no limit on km (other than what you can physically drive during the rental period). plenty of people use them for track days.

Yep. 15$ a day for their motorcycle trailer, no kms charged.
It has a wheel chuck right in the middle, a really nice ramp which makes loading super easy and a bunch of hooks in the floor boards to tie your bike down.
Used it to get my dad's old bike from Montreal to Niagara. I already had a truck with a hitch at the time.

Yea they aren't lame, I was just being a Debbie Downer (or Negative nancy.. whichever works best for you). I've used them several times in the past.
This was a busy week so time was important and Chris totally came through!
He was on time, faced that muggy weather yesterday and delivered the goods without a single problem. It turned out to be cheaper then renting a pick-up and trailer from U-haul; my mazda 3 doesn't have the tow hook. Saved me $$ and more importantly... time. Thanks again to Chris and everyone for the suggestions

CAA plus. Will tow your bike for free up to 160km a year or something like that.. had to get mine towed to the shop just this past weekend, worked great.
