site lists an R1 out of Brampton
what could go wrong with that??

The web site may be based in California, but the bikes are from all over, and they have insurance valid in Canada.
These are the ones available in Toronto:

Looks like you can rent a CBR300R for $90 CDN for a single day.
Only $50 for a burgmann 400.
Can I use a scooter for the M test? I've never even rode one lol
The insurance policy is crap and will leave the bike owner hanging out to dry if something serious happens.
If you are considering renting out your bike though this company.. please understand how little coverage you will actually have.
If someone gets hurt while renting your bike, or hurts someone else... You will be sued... and their coverage won't protect you.
I see, well considering its not for a fun ride and only for the test I think I will end up renting this burgmann, I just need to confirm if anyone had a good experience with this riders shareAs long as the scooter is >50cc and can reach speeds over 70 km/h, then it's classified as a motorcycle.
If the scooter is less than 50cc and can't reach 70 km/h, you can still take the motorcycle test, but upon a successful pass, you'll be given a Limited-Speed Motorcycle (LSM) license instead of a full motorcycle license.
Burgman 400 seems to satisfy MTO's requirement for being a full motorcycle.
Some people on GTAM might disagree, though...
Should be fine, as long as the renter wears his helmet.site lists an R1 out of Brampton

You can be the first and tell us how it went.I'm trying this website now, anyone with a good experience?
Good advice, I'll try renting one before so I can make sure it's safe to rent for my test.My only advice would be to rent the motorcycle for a day that is well in advance of the test date so that you have the opportunity to get used to it, and to Canadian roads.
If you don’t like the bike, then you still have time to find another one before the test day.

Pretty sure I called and asked my car insurer and they said no. May vary from insurer to insurerMost car insurance covers rentals. Wonder if it would cover renting a MC thru that site?
I am pretty sure all insurance policies have a clause that exempts coverage if the claim occurs as a result of a criminal act. I'm not sure if this is actually enforced (or enforceable) or just something for lawyers to fight over at settlement time.Hmmmm, I wonder what your insurance rates would be if you told your broker you live in Brampton and you are going to rent your R1 out to anybody with an M license or would they just send you a registered letter to cancel your policy.
I was under the impression that by Ontario law your mandatory insurance has to make good on claims, even if somebody stole your bike and did a no-no with it.
