Help - anyone -Brampton exit test?

Since I am not familar with Brampton Im hoping someone who has recently taken the M2 exit test at the Brampton ministry can post up the route.

I saw the you tube video but have no idea what streets he is turning on.

they may mix things around from test to test. best bet is to find out the area they drive in and check out the streets around there. the route i took on my test in peterborough was different than the one given to me and other people had other routes. it does help to scope out the places you have to watch for like beer stores etc.
 
What the Cruisin' girl said above. Find the area, ride it a few times. You'll feel more comfortable. I'll be riding doing that soon, too.
 
when do you go for your test i did it at the end of july was the same route as... you tube. Not sure of the street names but might be around that area on the weekend could get them for you, maybe you want to hook up for a ride we could do the route let me know
 
Moose it would be awesome if you could get the street names at least some would be good. I'm working on the weekends the next little while so I cant do weekends :(

Just be confident in your ability to ride on the road, any public road. There will be nothing weird that will shock you, roads are roads. It can be someone nerving when doing this exam, but if your confident in your riding abilities you will be fine. Just shoulder check a lot, make sure you exaggerate it so they know your shoulder checking. Maybe cut back on the wheelies as well. And ONLY race someone at the lights if they give you the nod and rev 3 times.
 
That's still the one. Just did mine last month. Residential first, highway second.
 
I did mine in Brampton end of June, and it was the same route as posted. Super easy, though I was really nervous to begin with as the rider before me failed his.

The earpiece really hurt though, it's just the metal piece, and was missing the foam covering. I'd bring earphones that can fit into your helmet to replace theirs, just for comfort's sake. Good luck!
 
Did mine two years ago and the route was very similar, I may have gone up to queen st on the 410 not clark.
 
Congratulations! I'm sure that must be quite a relief. I know my wife is stressed about taking her full M and that isn't until next summer.
 
Your Tester will ask you before you start if your bike is equipped with Hazard lights. If it is, you should know where they are and how to use them.

At some point during the test, you will be instructed to pull over and conduct an emergency stop. Look behind you in your rearview, signal, and pull over. If your bike does not have Hazards, leave the signal on, hit the kill engine switch, and LEAVE THE IGNITION key in the on position which leaves your lights on. Get off the bike and head for the curb.

Don't forget to re-enter the road by looking and signalling.
 
Do I stop parallel to curb or do I pull over perpendicular to the road like when we park the bike.

Park

Park:2 tries/rolled/fell over

Resume

Start:kick stand down
Signal:4 ways on/no signal
Accelerate:not blend/gears/no left tire track
Signal:not cancel

So there you go. Looks like my signal was off after the bike was stopped. I guess I did that automatically. I would suggest that you write down any questions as I did and ask the Tester just before starting the test. They encourage that. Good luck
