So I got my head shape checked and fall into the intermediate oval...for some odd reason I thought someone said I had a round shape head.
I ended up ordering the shoei rf-1400 from gp bikes (they had a sale over the long weekend and I was able to save the tax).
Will be picking it up by this weekend ? I'll make sure to try it there at the store before leaving with it.
Sit on a chair or on the floor, then get someone to take a picture of the top of your head. You should be able to determine the shape of your head from the photo. If you have a huge mop of hair then it may need to be thoroughly wet and just hanging straight down so you can see the profile.
I was at GP a few weeks ago. Helmet section is blocked off and they serve you. You ask for a helmet, then try it on, if you don't buy it they clean them before putting them back on the shelf.
I am loving my Shoei RF 1400. I will say I am not liking the middle button visor release design and prefer the design of the RF1200 visor release, other than that solid helmet with less wind noise than the RF 1200.
Picked it up last night. Couldn't try it on there because of the lock down but strangely they mentioned that they would take it back if I ship it back to them. Definitely have chipmunk cheeks.... will try on again over the weekend but I think the fit is good ?

Wear for 10 minutes around the house before removing tags. Pressure at the neck and forehead is a sign of a bad fit. Cheek pads will wear in over time, no worries.
have the AGV K6. pro very light compare to my shoei rf1200. field of vision seems bigger also.
