While not helmet related, Icon is pretty much the only manufacturer that comes with a back protector in every jacket, especially the entry segment. I benefited from this in my first year as I did 'test' the efficacy of the d3o back protector and it did its job (~80kph end over end in the grass, probably 6 bouncing rolls onto my back). If my jacket didn't come with it (Overlord), I can honestly say I may have stuck with the foam cause CE ratings are confusing to noobs.

Just saying, can't knock everyone in the company.
