That's kinda funny - Scorpion supplies helmets to H-D. Guess where Scorpion helmets are made ?

Wouldn't want the chin strap coming off while the pavement is grinding off your face.

Issue​

During random testing of the product, two samples were found to be non-compliant with the retention system requirements set forth in FMVSS No. 218, posing a physical hazard to the user.

The way this is being presented is a little weird. "FMVSS No. 218" is the DOT standard, therefore you would wonder shouldn't this be an immediate problem in the USA as well? The answer is that the manufacturer recalled these in the US 3 months ago: Home | NHTSA

It always amazes me the number of riders that i see with the chin strap way too lose or no done up at all.
First bounce and its gone.
