Several options are available.
Fog Zero paste works well on visors.
Believe it or not, Pledge furniture polish (or the no name equivilant) works very well too.
Simply spray on, wipe off, wait 3 minutes and give it a quick buff. Depending on the weather conditions, it should last about a week at a time.
Fog is simply water droplets getting a hold of imperfections in the shield's finish. The Fog Zero/Pledge fills in the imperfections, and prevents the water droplets from forming...
Use it all the time in hockey when I'm refereeing or playing.
If the Pledge / Fog Zero doesn't work, Run your visor under hot water, which will soften any wax etc left over. Wipe it off. Then reapply and buff as before.
