Helmet doesn't feel right

Hard to find shops within the GTA, but if you are willing to travel to Whitby, both GP Bikes and Royal Distributing are side by side (almost) and should have lots of selection. FIWIW, when I was shopping a few years back I found both the RF-1100 and Quest fit very similar, but went with the RF-1100 in the end.

As for people who buy online, either they don't know better, or have tried on the helmet elsewhere first (friends, local store, etc), or are replacing an existing helmet, imo.

Yeah I wouldn't consider it a snug fit if it slides forward. Maybe it's the wrong head shape for you?
 
Yeh, perhaps it is the wrong shape for my alien looking round head. Whitby looks more promising as opposed to ordering and shelling out more money to waste again. Hopefully I'll have a perfect fit by the 64th try
 
If you're a new rider I recommend getting cheap gear first. As you ride you get to know what makes you comfortable & what you like. HJC & J. Rocket are quality beginner's gear
 
You likely want a touch tight rather than loose as they will break in a bit from new.

That said, you don't want it uncomfortably tight.

Mine is on the tight side yet I can still choose to wear a bandanna or something underneath without issue.
