Hello, new to the site, and to riding. :)

Welcome!

(How has this thread been open for almost an hour and I am the first post? Where are the leg humpers?)

Welcome. Joe's right, i'm surprised the leg humpers haven't filled this thread up faster as well. Asking people on here to drop suggestions is leaving yourself wide open.. lol

Info and suggestions about what? Do you have a bike, an m1 or m2 yet? If no bike yet what kind are you hoping to get etc..? What kind of info are you looking for?

Im here for the hump. Hump hump hump...

Oh btw, welcome...

Hump...

Edit: sorry for messing with ya. Enjoy riding and ride safe!

Its been so long since Ive been on a forum, forgot about the leg humpers! haha I have my M1 and I'm taking my M2 with RTI right now. :)

I am looking for either a 600cc suzuki maybe honda, or a 250 kawasaki.....I guess my biggest question is how NOT to get burnt when buying from someone off of kijiji etc....

Oh and thanks for the welcome here.

Valerie.

Welcome :)
i think u should start with a 250 a 600 is very powerful. As for not getting burnt try ur best to find the best deal go check more than one bike and take a friend with u who knows about bikes so he/she can check it out for u

Welcome,

And Scorpio is right! Or if you can find someone selling one through someone you know or trust. I just bought a GSXR600 through a coworker's buddy, took a friend of mine that knows bikes better as in the mechanics, he found some issues but knew they were small and easy to fix. If not for him I would not have noticed them.

250s aren't that expensive brand new, so that would be a way to avoid getting burned. You can also try and hunt down a remaining 2011 clearance model.

And welcome!

Hey

there is a female rider on this forum started with suzuki hayabusa ,she says its the best bike for beginners , good for highways speeds 400km/hr and easy on twisties , also its pretty light ,easy to control, cheap on insurance as well. im sure she can help u to pick one of them on kijiji for $1000.

ok just kidding :), seriously!. im in a funny mood this morning :p. get a cbr250 with ABS or kawi 250, u wont disappoint...

If you're serious about a bike, and the seller is serious about a sale, maybe he'd take it to a dealership for an inspection (which you'd then pay for). You could then do the safety at the same time, and even if you don't buy, the seller would get a safety out of it for his troubles that might help him sell?
