Hello from Ajax!

welcome!

Let us know when you're ready Bio and we'll get something going. Maybe a Sunday morning. I know a quiet cafe outside the Port (Perry) with plenty of parking in a little hamlet the size of a postage stamp. Outdoor tables under the trees. Makes a nice destination for someone just starting to ride. Might be a half hour north of the zoo. Then we can cruise through Port Perry and circle back, or whatever. All back roads. Good way to get some miles under you. Everybody welcome. Sometimes all I have time for is a short ride, so a 2-3 hour event works for me if I'm busy. This place is nice but it hasn't been 'discovered' yet like the Forks where it's jam packed and people have come to hate bikes!

Damn that sounds like a fun ride. I'll let you know as soon as i'm ready! Doing my M1 tomorrow (wish me luck!) and scheduled for M2 on May 8th. Gotta wait a month unless some miracle happens and i get bumped up by a few weeks :P

M1 Done :D

M2 Here i come .....

I took today off to finish the M1, grab the last of my gear and finish the paperwork on the bike.
Now im just waiting on M2 classes to be done in a months time and i can ask the dealership to deliver my bike :P

Now its waiting time lol

Well, you're on your way. And that's more than a lot of people can say. Hang in there. I'm hoping to get out this weekend, but the weather is pretty unpredictable this time of year. I remember getting caught in a snow storm about an hour from home last April. Lot's of slush and crap accumulating on my visor, icy roads, freezing temperatures...but I couldn't wait another week to ride so I took my chances! I made it home alright, but not the kind of weather you want to spend much time in when you're starting out. Another month and it'll be nice, and then you'll have a good 6-7 months of riding ahead of you. We'll be waitin' for you in May. And so will that coffee...

Anyone up for this ride either next weekend or the one after? Probably on the Sunday morning.
