Hello from Ajax!

Recently found and joined the forms while researching bikes, costs, gear, insurance and a whole slew of numbers to see if this is something i can afford for the summer.

This place is bloody amazing; it is awesome to find such a wonderful resource of riders from all calibre. Got some awesome help thanks to ifiddles, cutekill, Sabrina the Statefarm lady. I think i practically carpet bombed them all with a slew of questions, most of which were pretty silly i'm sure.

This place provided me with the answers to all my questions and pointed me in the proper direction.

After much research, i'm a proud owner of a new 09 CBR125. Delivery is shortly after my M2 is done (/poke cutekill) in May.

If anyone close by wants to; i would love to join up for a ride on the back roads.

If your in the area and see a CBR125 (white/blue/red colour scheme) honk your horn :)

See you out there! I am moving to the area in a month or so, and picking up my ninja 400 as soon as the weather is nicer again. We should hook up for a ride.

Sound's like a plan! just keep in mind that i'm as new as they get lol.

I'm just on the west side of the Rouge. Maybe we can take a ride up past the zoo to Stouffville or Port Perry for a coffee sometime. I'm never in a hurry when I ride up that way.

ooo a nice relaxing backroads ride up to port perry sounds like a bloody brilliant idea!

This is something we ought to plan out in 2 months time :D

Eyy! Welcome!!
I had the pleasure of riding the 125 all day everyday last year. I loved it to death!! Congrats on your new ride=)
I'm down for rides anytime! I'm just on the border line of Scarb/Ajax. You shud def try out Twin Rivers.

If you think u'd be comfortable enough by mid summer, I'm planning a trip down to Ohio to visit CedarPoint Amusement Park! Huge park, huge rides, nice start to long touring rides. Only 6 hrs away, it's def doable! Msg me if yer interested =)

Welcome!! ... The start button is by your right thumb ... the off button ... well ... you shouldn't want to turn it off after your first ride ...

ride safe and have fun.

Welcome, enjoy your new bike. Love the back roads.

Let us know when you're ready Bio and we'll get something going. Maybe a Sunday morning. I know a quiet cafe outside the Port (Perry) with plenty of parking in a little hamlet the size of a postage stamp. Outdoor tables under the trees. Makes a nice destination for someone just starting to ride. Might be a half hour north of the zoo. Then we can cruise through Port Perry and circle back, or whatever. All back roads. Good way to get some miles under you. Everybody welcome. Sometimes all I have time for is a short ride, so a 2-3 hour event works for me if I'm busy. This place is nice but it hasn't been 'discovered' yet like the Forks where it's jam packed and people have come to hate bikes!
