He`s getting deported, will you be next ?

Wow...when did we become all anti-brown on this board on this forum? I suggest to the admins that we ban people who like this. Alot of other car/bike forums I am on have cleaned up their act, I think GTAMotorcycler should do the same. Start the ban hammer for comments like this.

Back on topic, the dude is not Canadian. So get him out of here. Taxes or not.

I find it odd, that we ( Canada ) will allow people to illegally enter or borders on human trafficking ships from Sri Lanka , house them and feed them for a year, and help them find jobs and also give them healthcare and anything else they might need

His post wasnt "anti brown" at all. It was anti illegal immigration.

But nice try on the racism card

How was that "anti brown"? human trafficking ships came in and demanded asylum, they happened to originate from Sri Lanka. Quit being over sensitive he's just stating facts.

Pretty sure I won't be next. Actually, I'm absolutely sure I won't be next.

This person is a non-Canadian, who has chosen to be a member of an illegal club. There are grounds for denying citizenship, there are grounds for deporting people. It has nothing to do with being a nice guy, and it doesn't even have anything to do with being a criminal. Being a member, particularly a senior member, of a group that is deemed illegal, is grounds for refusal. It's no secret that the HA is deemed, by the Canadian Government, to be an illegal or criminal organization. You may disagree with their assessment, but it is their publicly declared assessment, they make no secret of it.

It's strange to act so surprised about something that is fairly obvious and well-published.

I think your real issue is that you believe that the HA should not be on the list of "criminal organizations". If that's so, then that's what you should be upset about, not this deportation. The HA has been on the list for quite some time.

To answer your question,no i won't be next.I don't belong to an organization funded by prostitution and drug trafficking.

What if you own businesses in Holland? It's legal over there. Hell, I wish prostitution and certain drugs were legal here, not that I'd enjoy the services of a prostitute, being married, taking it seriously and all

Same here. I really don't believe Mary jane to be a bad drug. The Canadian government could tax it to death and make a killing. As for the hookers well......morally and ethically I object. However logically it's one of the oldest jobs in the world. Some chicky wants to sell her body of her own free will. Whatev...give 'er

Prostitution is legal in Canada.

Yeah for real... you're a phone call or email away from getting an escort to your door and its perfectly legal; as it should be.

Get with the times, guys. They're called sex workers now. Which is especially hot if you like chicks in hard hats.

My family came to Canada in 1650, too late to deport, hah.

No sympathy, he had 30 years to become a citizen, that's well beyond procrastination.

After seeing what Gilligan has gone through and now trying to get down to the states myself. I have a new respect for immigrants. You practically have to sell your first born off to get in. Gilligan tried to get his citizenship while he was down there after living there for 25 years and he got deported. He had a business, house, kid, was paying taxes and they shipped his *** to prison for 3 months then on to the first plane to Canada with no care that he had no money and they were sending him far from where his family is from.

Sorry but where I would have sided with the pro deportation groups before, I side with Agave now.

For what reason did they send him to Prison?

I'm still not a Canadian Citizen, just classified as a permanant resident thats been here for 25 years.

I am fully aware though if i commit a serious crime then my arse would be shipped back.

I'm always worried about getting deported. I haven't lived in Cambridge (nee Galt) since I was 1, and I don't know a soul there. It's a good 20 minute drive up #8 from here. Being forced to start a new life there would be traumatic to say the least.

I think I'll go hide under my desk now.

How does that work? Are we all living under the commonwealth?

In the US, if you are living there illegally you have committed a crime. You get deported, but since the paperwork takes them several months to complete they throw you in jail until they get around to getting all of it done. They don't give you the option of just taking the first flight out of the country.
