No - it's always more fun when done by a "motivated" amateur.
Inreb - personally, I think you lucked out - at least it was done by someone who has had some experience with fragistrams - rather than some guy who is a bit squeamish about your package. see - RMEMEDIC
Guess you never had a prostate check.The package I received (from Shouldice) about my package made mention to be sure to shave the 'area'. I DID. I too had a male nurse. He "took care" of the guy in the bed next to me first, and then it was my turn. I fully expected him to bugger off, and leave me be, but, he said: "just to make sure all hair is removed, I have to go over the area again".
Not the best day of my life.

On a ranty sidenote: Did you know they ask about drug plan/financial means before the test to determine treatment options? In the event test shows needing a heart stent, Plavix(expensive) will be needed for 1-12 months. If you can't afford the drug, you don't get the stent. Stay in school and get a good job kids!
My back surgeon complained about the cheap screws he had to use to hold my back together. Since WCB (WSIB) was footing the bill, they use an inferior screw compared to 'more expensive' screws that OHIP would have paid for.
Examined / checked / biop / CT scan - you name it - I've been thru it. I've had a non malignant tumor on my prostate for over 5 yrs - I'm still kick'n about.
Very eerie feeling when they do the biopsy - you may enjoy it.

i once made a trip to hospital and told them i had blood in my stool ............ WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS
When I get the patient info form before I pull them from the waiting room and I see things like blood in stool, hurts when I pee, bumps on... or just the word "private" in their reason for the clinic visit it's not the highlight of my day either lol.
