..a semi decent riding road. Apologies for those that already know this, but Sussex drive (in Ottawa) is actually a lovely bike route, reasonably twisty, along the river onto aviation parkway and with two roundabouts sprinkled in for fun. Speed limit is 60ish....seems widely ignored though. Wave to the cop outside Harper's house as you go past!
It's a pretty reasonable route to go from downtown out to the east end and you're not far away from the ferry to Quebec if you want to head that way (towards Mont Tremblent perhaps).
