I find it pretty condescending. If you need a motorcycle to feel "free" there's something seriously wrong with you.

I ride a motorcycle because I love it. Not to show that I have "freedom". I also love driving my car (though not nearly as much), walking, running or riding my bicycle. But I suppose when I'm using those forms of locomotion I'm in a "cage". What a load of self-important crap.
 
even though its a repost, still makes me laugh when i see it on tv.

Same here. The commercial would have made more sense if only the cars were in cages.

Sure, walking and cycling can make you feel free. But don't try and relate that to riding a motorcycle - it's not the same. You say you ride your motorcycle because you love it. Why do you love it? S1000RR - well done. Speed? Adrenaline? Sure. But I bet the feeling of freedom is at least part of why you love it so much.
