Handles

I have quite a few...Diamond ;) and no, its not my stage name; Kimi Toenail and there's a pretty embarrassing explanation for that  and the last one is Rose...i'm going to automotive school and im the only female in a group of about 100 men. We were introducing ourselves and when the instructor got to me he said I was the only 'rose' among the 'thorns' and it just stuck!

My first dualsport was black and I named her the "Beast" - hence "BlackBeast" and since have used the same username on several bike forums.

What a great thread,

The general state of my bones throughout my life has been broken or cracked in one place or another.

Not that I'm accident prone, just my choice of activities.

At the age of about 8 when i was climbing a giant willow tree, I slipped and fell, breaking my arm on the way down, soon after that I broke my collar bone in judo when I was about 10.

All in the name of fun, I took up skateboarding(finger), rock climbing/jumping(tailbone), BMX(groin), moto cross, skiing(knee), snowmobiling(collar bone again), cliff diving, soccer(toes) and some combinations of these. Nothing major, until I got my drivers licence. 3 years later I got my bike licence. I'm sure you all can imagine what happens when a 19 year old overconfident, inexperienced thrill seeking boy is mixed with performance machinery.....I'm sure many people feel indestructable at this age.

Close to 25 years later I still take some chances that I really shouldn't, just for a cheap thrill. Gladly injurys are not nearly as frequent these days.

Every once in a while, a great handle just spontaneously emerges. "Col. Angus" is brilliant, and, unfortunately, not mine. It's gotta be original.

Being away from Canada (and my beloved Toronto) so long made me think of somehow incorporating a reference... it's there, and yet neatly concealed.

Almost genius... :p

I ride a F4i and think everything I say on this forum should be taken with a grain of salt. So, instead of typing "AFAIK" (As Far As I Know) before every post I just mashed it together with F4i and made it my username.

Anyone say Wesley Snipes Movie, Blade... just got from that,,, works best for me as, im out an about all the time... :)

Well, I'm a musician by trade...I teach, perform as a session musician and compose for film/tv. I also have 2 Ernie Ball MusicMan guitars. Still not very original though...

From one of favorite movies of all time.....

I really wanted to get into Plastique Nightclub back in the day but we couldn't because we were underage. I tried to bribe the bouncer one time to no avail. Plastiqe spelled with no letter U is never taken when I go to register it on a webiste.

That is almost genius. Mine is simple - my initials MFF.
I like Moto Ronto. It reminds me of my X-Box motto, in which I included my gamertag and location.
"Dire, forlorn mottos!"

.....is an anagram of "Slider, from Toronto."

designbycassandra - I'm a massively creative person and appreciator of all fine arts. I am an actor/musician by trade, but I also dabble in visual arts and graphic/fashion design. I'm looking forward to working with an airbrush artist (something to learn!) on a custom paint job on my dream bike. :)

MusicMan - That's my boyfriend, Nick. He's a professional musician (name the instrument, he probably plays it or can learn it in a week). One of his favourite guitar manufacturers is Ernie Ball Music Man, a moniker that suits his lifestyle, so to speak. (He also provides private music lessons - help pay the insurance bill!). :)

So, being a couple of professional 'starving artists', motorbikes are easy on the pocketbook, no? :)

Hmmmm , well many years ago my C.B. "handle " was "Show Me"<---------- maybe for another thread. lol. But since i have recently made a DReaM CoMe TRUe i decided on just that for my handle here. Happy to be here.

NFQ

Whenever a bunch of us were having discussions and made a point that ended the conversation, we'd always say "No Further Questions" then move on to the next topic, which later became NFQ. It kinda stuck and here we are.

I was talking with a group of friends in a college computer class about how to spell things. I said a really common name and then I started spelling it adding in a silent j, a silent h, a silent Q... Then I thought, "That would make a really cool screen name." Offered it to my friend, he declined so I jumped on it.
