haha - eat your heart out TO :)

I considered moving to Vancouver for work (transfer opportunity, basically). I thought it would be awesome to escape the snow of Toronto, but on further research, Vancouver has cloud cover 90% of days outside of July-August, and that just doesn't work for me. I'd rather sunny and some snow than gloomy and rain all year.

Yea...you should go visit. Lived there for 3+ years, would go back in a heartbeat.

Winter = rain.

Spring/Summer/Fall = awesome.

Unlike Onterrible - there are actually 4 seasons.

HA! Its crazy the amount of people that hate Vancouver on here. I spent 5 years out there and moved back to Ontario last June...Im already sick of Ontario and want to move back, the people here are more rude for the most part. Yes it rains a lot but really who cares, its not like the rain we get in Ontario its different. When the skies open up you appreciate the day, people in Ontario take everything for granted. Its funny how you can hate a place that you've never actually experienced based on the negative weather reports. For one the transit system in the lower mainland is light years more efficient than the gta! The list goes on. Haters gunna hate...Oh did I mention that riding season is year round. To each their own but get off the airplane at YVR and breathe in that fresh air and maybe it'll change your mind a little bit.

To me waking up to this just cant be beat. It also only took me 5 mins to get to.

I actually prefer Vancouver to Toronto. People DO seem nicer there and the 2 weeks I spent in July 08, there was sunshine everyday.

When I moved back here from Calgary I hated it before I even got out of the airport. Vancouver blows but yes Toronto is worse.
