So i did a bit of reading up since ive never heard of this and i don't understand the logic. The idea is to get people who can barely afford to live a house in one of the most overpriced housing markets in the world?

For sure. It is amazing to be working with them too becuase they need to put in the volunteer hours too. Nothing like meeting the people you are helping.
