I will try and make it out, its all comes down to the funds i have available.

Funds will be available.... Just one question, after reading the tech/safet req. For this event, is it a MUST HAVE for back protector? I have been to TMP 4x nfor track days and have yet to be told a must for a back protector. So is this a REQUIREMENT or a highly recommended?

Ok, thats what i thought. I have read threw TMPs requirements but i was just reviewing your GTAM TRACKDAY TECH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS ( http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/misc.php?do=page&template=gtamtmp) and its states other wise. But if its still like any other TMP event, where its optional, im in for sure. Hopefully will be picking one up soon anyways. Thanks Jaimie

Sounds good! If running it normal/clockwise watch out for the big bump on the exit of the last corner heading onto the straight!

If you're looking for it, you'll hit it for sure :p

Keep tight and kiss those turtles.... you won't even notice it.

please spend $100 or less and get yourself a back protector. you'll thank me when **** hits the fan. it's made, sold and are very popular amongst riders and racers for a reason. the benefits of having one while riding on track far out-weighs not wearing one in an event of a crash. cayuga might not be a fast pace track but falling at any speed can cause serious injuries; you as a rider should take any necessary pre-cautions for yourself and for others at the track. if an event that you went down and hurt your back, not only does it effect you but everyone elses session is cut short because you chose to skip out on basic gears. don't cheap out on (imo) mandatory gears for track/street use, it can save you one of these days.

Lol, first things first Jamie you've got to negotiate the other dozen corners prior to the bump without crashing.

I am fully aware of the bump in the exit of the last corner. My corner i don't like is entrance of turn 2. If i dont hit that inside line tight my suspension almost throws me up and over the seat from the bump just in the middle of 2

a back protector

Jeff - I'm moving soon and as I was boxing **** up today, I came across what appears to be a Dainese Wave BP.
I don't ever remember using it although I may have. (I use another brand).
Yours for $25 if you want it.
PM me, or call if you still have my number.

Registration for the intermediate group complete. See you guys out there

Edit: Registered for the August 25th track day

Is TMP doing the tech for the day, or is someone from GTAM doing it?
If TMP is running it, be ready for extended delays in the morning.
Both times I've been there at TMP days (not run by Racer 5 or GWB etc) the tech didn't start till about 8:45am, and didn't finish till at least 9:30.
First time: Everyone in my group (5 of us) was told to tighten their chain and come back for re-tech.
No probs. Did it, got re-teched and passed.
Second time: told to tighten the chain again, even though I hadn't changed it from the last time.

The guys from Pro6 (Sandy - very thorough inspection) passed my chain the way it was before the first time at TMP. So, I'm not exactly sure what the problem was...
