He was thinking, u do that as a business so u won't mind doing it to sell your bike
He wouldnt of known anything about my business. It was from Kijiji.
I sold my car via Kijiji and I didn't have any problems. This time, I'm trying to sell my bike and I can't tell you how many "I am busy so I can't see the bike, but I will give you $1,000 over asking because I like the bike" scams I've had in the past 2 weeks.
Wahhhhh wahhhhhh. I'm one of the "time wasters". OP insisted I Pay Pal and he'd ship, but when it comes to buying a suit, I wanted to see the product. Offered to make the drive to come pick it up on a weekend (2 hour drive I think?) for his asking price (asked if it was negotiable, he said no and I agreed) but he was "going away"for the weekend. Understandable. I said I would TRY to make it out during the week after work, but wasn't able to make it out. Texted him mid day saying I wouldn't be able to make it. Never told him to hold it or anything as some one who has sold MANY things on forums, I know the general rule is first come first serve. As most can see the OP is a ******* baby, and threw a fit saying he didn't need my money bla bla bla. OK fine. Now this thread. Grow up.
What a timely thread!
I'm selling my bike and I've quickly realised that there are a lot of potential buyers who are mostly tire kickers and also who don't know what they are doing.
Word of advice if you are a buyer - don't ask 101 questions via email or phone. It's far better to ask questions face-to-face so you can get a better sense of whether the seller is telling the truth or lying. So if you like the pictures, go see the item with your own eyes and then ask 101 questions or even more if you like.
...though my girlfriend did get $50 off $300 without even really asking...
My side, your side, what ever. Truth is half way between both. I gave you notice I wasn't coming and had you been available on the weekend you wouldn't have had made this thread crying. Point remains in both stories, you acted like a child.
:happy1:

Perfectly understandable. OP's fault for not re-arranging his life for the seller. Well done chap.
