GTAM time wasters as bad as Kijiji

Do people really have so much time and nothing better to do than to email, PM, set up meetings, claim to intend to send payments, not only wasting my time but a whole bunch of their time too? Every time I post an item for sale on here I get reminded how stupid people are.

I'm just going to start posting pictures of me destroying perfectly good stuff rather than sell it on here.

If you get enough youtube hits you might be able to make enough money out of it.

What would you do when you BUY an item posted on Kijiji or here? Just curious... lol!

I feel your frustration but I've found the GTAM community to be quite a lot better than your garden variety kijiji shopper. So far anyway.

sorry I should have added they do all that and then don't show, don't pay, just generally be a flake and not do what they say they are going to do

"windows shopping"

or for Mac users....take notice about how much time they spend at the Mac store fiddling with the latest 2mm thinner version of what they already have.

Ah, now it makes sense. I hear your frustration.

But don't get upset / mad at people who totally don't matter to you because that's a waste of your time and energy.

Agreed.

OP you should listen to Master Shifu, the mouse in Kong Fu Panda, take a deep breath and look for your "inner peace" whenever you are frustrated... You feel better now? :D

This is the following of a conversation I had once when selling a TV:

"Hello"
"100"
"What?"
"100"
"100 What"
"100 dollars"
"Who the hell are you? What are you talking about?"
"$100 for the TV"
"It's listed for $350. **** off"
"Come on, just take it"
"**** off"

Then I hung up.

I don't have high expectations anymore. Anything better than that is a good day.

Someone made a special request to come see my bike early on a saturday morning. I reluctantly agreed, woke my @$$ up and waited only to be slapped in the face with a no show. On the plus side, I got more done that day than I had planned.

Maybe he's sending out lots of requests and whoever give the best deal he went for it. Like a job application, u send out as much resumes as possible and go to interviews, then take the one that replied 1st or give the best pay.

I'm not saying I do that to potential sellers, just thinking aloud

Betcha they were wearing a backpack while riding..

I'm guilty of asking for pictures and details of products n then stopping the communication. I don't see what's wrong with that. If I am interested I'll continue on.
