Great news everyone. GTAM and Grand Bend Motorplex have teamed up to bring you track weekend on Aug 24/25 2013.

*UPDATE* We will be running screaming alien circuit on Saturday and reverse screaming alien on Sunday!!

Awesome news Paul! Two days at Grand Bend!! :D

Last year was run very well, and we're very happy to be a part of this again. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Well that sucks! Same weekend as the VRRA Mosport, I have a half dozen bikes going into it with a bunch of SOAR characters riding them. Dammit! I am sure you guys will have a blast :(
 
In view of the date, I'll be at Mosport. onmivore, you'll have to buy an older bike, your YZF is one generation too new! (1989 cutoff ... my bike is a 1989)
 
I may be able to hook you up .

I have an 89 ZX7, an 89 FZR1000 w/750 engine, an 89 FZR400, Just bought a 75 CB750 (not sure if this one will be done in time though) Pete is bringing his OWO1 replica out, working on Paul and his FZR and Cam and his GSXR.
Going to be epic want to start on Friday and enter all of them in the endurance race then hang out and do every race they are legal for. Putting all the SOAR racers on them. Going to do the entire four round series. Two at Shanny , one Mosport and one at St Eustache for a change none conflict with SOAR so I can get back in the saddle :) Would love to support GTAM and GBM but cant on this weekend :(
 
This sounds like a plan!

Pretty stoked, it'll be a new track for me and I seem to have that weekend free too.
I will see who else wants to join.

new track, and the beach is near, isn't it ? I hope to make it down and win something again :)
 
Quit complaining about the drive, we are supposed to be gearheads!

I have to be in Bogie the Mon/Tues right after. Do you see me complaining? Nooo!

I'll probably come for the Saturday, just waiting for the work projects lineup at work to see if I'm free for that weekend. Should be fun. Hopefully will get some practice on that track earlier in the summer before that though.

Make it whatever the next SOAR round configuration is, this would get some of us to come and practice for the next round

Start a poll? And coordinate with GBM to see what config they are running...

+1 for Reverse Screaming Alien :toothy8:

It'll be nice to have an extra day of practice before the next SOAR round.
