Sorry guys, I should have mentioned in my post asking where the meet was that I wasn't coming tonight. I was asking for next week :)
 
Hey guys, sorry I couldn't make it tonight. Got into a little accident. Walked away with a tiny scratch but the fairing is broken. Possibly some internal damage to the bike but I was able to ride it home after the fact so we will see what happens when I bring it in. From what I noticed, fairings needs to be replaced, handlebars slightly bent so that replaced, and we'll see what else. Other guy was at fault so everything is covered. Long story short, you should not be driving a car at 92 years old.

Oh and the more important part, I walked away with a small scratch. Now the waiting game for it to be fixed. I will meet up with you all once the bike is fixed, hoping ASAP. Safe riding everyone!

Thanks everyone! Shoulder is a bit stiff but not sure if that was from the fall or from my workout haha

Nice pic! Would have stood out with my metallic silver GS500F... Too bad =( Took it to the shop today. Adjuster is heading out at the beginning of next week to check out the damage. The insurance company insisted having the adjuster come to my house to check out the bike, obviously so that they could low ball the cost of the damage but I told them that they need to see the bike at a shop with a licensed mechanics present. They know most people don't think about this stuff so I'm sure they weren't happy when I brought it up. Such snakes!! I'll keep you all updated as to what happens... Watch it will be beautiful out the next few weeks when I don't have a bike. Just my luck! I suppose luck was on my side as I only walked away from the accident with a tiny scratch. I just need to keep thinking that it could have been a lot worse so I don't get upset about missing the trips I had planned for this month.. Hope to make it to a meet soon!

Is there a meet tomorrow the 14 ?

If so where ?

I will be leaving Brampton around 7 so is it possible to have it a bit closer then L and L if not I will still try to get down .
 
I think I'll be out riding most of the day, so if I may be crazy tired by the evening... keep me posted via text message tomorrow
