Hey there rider enthusiasts! I'm looking to hear some comparisons on these three top selling popular bikes! Im looking to gain in-depth bike knowledge and much rather prefer what the public here has to say about the bikes rather than the scripted description the manufactures give. Hope you can share some of your personal experience, thanks and safe riding!

Obviously the gixxer is king bra...But seriously they are all so similar that there isn't one better than the other. Just get whatever is the most comfortable.

Lol, yes I do love sitting on the GSX-R. I know they are soooo similar thats why I was hoping someone out there might be able to provide me with some extra info. (+1 what ever is most comfortable)

asking someone else which will be most comfortable for you makes sense in so many ways

I didnt ask anyone else which would be most comfortable, thats just silly because clearly thats a personal thing. All i said was +1 to the comment about choose whats most comfortable. I thought there would be a few people who would rant about their bikes or previous (good/bad) experiences....

I dont mind suzuki, but l think the build quality on a honda cbr is slightly higher. CBR600 seem to have less "do - dads" but more quality and more refined for practical riding and the gsx got more but less quality per part. A slipper clutch on a 600cc is useless to me, but l wish l had a gear indicator sometimes. I never had any immediate experience with kawi so your on your own for that.

Also there are more gsx-r on the road so more used after market parts. BIG PLUS as l crawl kijiji for quality used part for a 2009 CBR600rr ( STUPID ME ), not to mention CBR is not a friendly DIY bike. I still cant figure how to get the fairings off, and changing the rear preload with ABS was a nightmare till l got the right part. THe dampening curve on my stock suspension is bull crap. Max on/off for rebound/compressing damping barely makes a difference. So down the road ill have to completely rework my suspension... AGAIN :'(

my 2c but l still prefer my my CBR600

I read a very interesting article lately in a rider magazine, comparing all of the 600s including triumph etc....it really depends what years you are talking about, the article I read compared newest 600s and although CBR had done a lot of modification in 2007 for the revamp...it was falling in many categories in comparison of the newest model years...sorry cant remember the magazine cover but its this month if looking at chapters....the article detailed comparisons on track etc with pro riders.

LOLz, post of the day

What does the "z" stand for in "lolz" ? Because personally it just pisses me off. Lolz. Queer. (not saying you're queer, just the z)

No complaints. Year really does count in comparisons.

and lol @ people still saying "X company's build quality is higher"
shocked they always own that manufacturers bike!!! DURRRRRR

oh and lol @ honda sackriders that say a slipper is useless

paying more for less, SWEET

Year really does count in comparisons.

Of course the generation/year of the model counts. Manufacturers don't update their bikes on the same years so comparing a previous generation that's possibly 4 years old to a competitor who just released a new bike isn't fair.

I have a '06 GSXR 600 and I absolutely love it. I recently test rode a '09 R6 at the Yamaha Demo Day at Brampton PowerSports.

I can honestly say that my stock GSXR was more powerfull and pulled a lot harder than the R6, I can only assume that the R6 has most of its power being delivered at a higher range than the GSXR so thats why it felt so docile compared to my bike.

The CBR has tons of upgraded parts and technology in the bike that is reflective in the price.

But in my opinion, the cheaper (older) technology on my GSXR is more than sufficient for street or even track day riding. Even being 5 years old my gsxr feels like it's going to buck my off if I WOT whereas the R6 just accellerated faster.

The suzuki's are the cheapest 600cc ss bikes out with some older technology i.e. manual steering dampner vs. Digital dampner Spring/shock suspension vs. whatever honda did now with the removal of the spring under the set.

Unless you are a professional racer, you do not need to pay for the latest and greatest technology because it is doesn't mean much on the street. The gsxr is definately the best bang for the buck, still outperforms........just ugly as hell now. lol

Slipper clutch on a 1000cc is warranted, but a 600cc... Really...

What kind of riding style have you adopted. The only time lve needed one when in my earlier days when l would double or triple downshift, while powerband, and just dropping the clutch lazily.

Ive havent seen too much innovation hit street bike between 2009 - 2003; no matter the brand. Only in the last couple of years have thing got really heated. Otherwise save some cash get an previous generation bike and use the saving for upgrades. That's one cost that will always keep you broke ;)

What difference does it make how big the engine is? A 600 will lock up the rear wheel on a hard downshift just as easily as a 1000. In fact with the more available revs of a 600 you have room to downshift even more aggressively than on a 1k.

You know what pisses me off?? really loud exhausts
