This popped up on my Facebook feed tonight. KW Sport Riders decided to hold a group ride with 40+ riders and rode from KW to Hockley Valley. This shows blatant disregard to current rules regarding groups of 5+ people gathering and some pictures show riders ignoring physical distancing rules.
This reflects poorly on the rest of the motorbike community and will bring unnecessary heat from cops.
So again, this group of circle jerking wankers was the KW Sport Riders.
*slow clap

Well, if we're in shutdown again in 4-6 weeks it'll be those sorts of people we can send the thank-you cards to.

Slow clap indeed.

Isn't there a manager somewhere that you should be talking to, Karen?

I see they've rebuilt the cafe after it got destroyed last year..

shocker...clearly no one in that moronic group has had a family member drop dead of C19...there will be a second spike before riding season ends in the fall, guaranteed

I'd welcome some easing, but only if everybody 'understands' . This **** wont make it better, even better when they have a face book page .

Bad time to plan a parade, dumb idea to document it.

Your analogy is weak, at best. A Karen bounces off the rev limiter over something trivial. I'm seeing several groups of 2-5 people in those pics all standing within 2-6 feet of each other. They're no better than the Michigan Boy Soldiers, and should be called out.

Yes the store looks rebuilt but is currently closed which it seems as a strange place to stop. There were ALOT of bikes out yesterday and today is probably going to have more.

While I agree this big group ride was a stupid idea, I still think that’s it’s pretty petty that some of you are reporting it to police, etc when you’re worried that this gives all bikers a bad image. You’re basically feeding the media & police ammunition.

Ok.

Looking at one of the pictures, it appears Police we’re monitoring the group. I’m assuming they didn’t do anything about it though....?

There's no ticket for "stupid".

Whoever organized this should be charged. The same way a church pastor was charged last week for organizing a service in the church parking lot where everyone stayed in their cars. Sure, everyone abided by the physical distancing rules, but it was a group gathering of more than 5 people which isn’t allowed right now.

******edit*****
Apparently the pastor wasn’t charged. Police handed over all the evidence to the Crown and they didn’t pursue the case.

The pastor wasn't charged with anything.
